Full-Time | $25–$33/hour
You've built clinical skills, learned to recognize when something isn't right with a patient, and discovered what matters to you in the way you practice medicine.
As your career grows, what you're looking for in a workplace may change, too. Maybe it's the opportunity to put more of your skills to work, practice medicine you're proud of, or find a schedule that works better for your life.
At AcutePet Urgent Care in Bellevue, Kentucky, we're looking for experienced veterinary technicians who want to put their knowledge and skills to work caring for pets who need timely medical attention.
Licensed in Ohio? We'd love to hear from you, too. Ohio Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) are welcome to apply if they're eligible and willing to obtain Kentucky licensure.
Whether you're considering your next career move or simply curious about what another hospital might offer, we'd welcome the opportunity to get to know you.
You'll be hands-on with urgent care patients—running diagnostics, taking radiographs, administering medications and treatments, monitoring anesthesia and recovery, and watching closely for changes that need the veterinarian's attention.
We see same-day appointments, call-ahead patients, and walk-ins as capacity allows, so the cases and priorities will change throughout the day. You'll work alongside veterinarians and teammates who bring different skills and experience to patient care, working together to determine what each patient needs and keep their care moving.
Every AcutePet hospital has a Managing DVM, and our medical standards and protocols are led by Chief Medical Officer John Anastasio, DVM, DACVECC, a board-certified specialist in Emergency and Critical Care.
We're looking for someone who brings clinical experience, sound judgment, and a genuine interest in patient care.
Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential part of this role. We staff each shift around the people needed to care for our patients, so your team needs to be able to count on you to be there, prepared, and ready to work.
Our hospitals are open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Team members need to be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. There are no overnight shifts.
You've already invested a lot in becoming the veterinary professional you are today. We'd love to learn more about your experience, what matters to you in your work, and what you're looking for next.
Interested in what your next chapter in veterinary medicine could look like? We'd love to hear from you.
